Redeem the Dance

Once upon a time, the arts were dominated by those who loved God and glorified Him through their creative gifts. Finally, Christians are beginning to reclaim the arts again and glorify God through them, but Dance, unfortunately, still remains neglected.
Let's redeem the dance!

Please support YWAM's (Youth With A Mission) School of Dance and it's mission.

All the creative arts are gifts from God and should be used to glorify Him.  Dance has long been dominated by the world and its influences, relegated to nothing more than a meaningless demonstration of base sensuality or human talent.

SOF is partnering with YWAM to redeem the dance and bring it back to its intended purpose, which is God's glory.  Dance is a beautiful expression of creativity which when done in excellence, exhibits the amazing capabilities of God's creation.

Dance is an amazing tool for reaching the lost around the world.  Almost all secular cultures, from the civilized to the primitive, respect and admire dance and dancers.  Christian dancers demonstrating excellence and worshiping God through dance in public forums have had tremendous success in opening doors for the gospel.

YWAM has created the School of Dance with the purpose of redeeming this art for the purpose of spreading the gospel around the world.  Young women (and men) from around the world are currently attending and receiving intense training from some of the best dance instructors in the world.

Unfortunately, many of these young Christians do not have enough funding to pay for tuition or the international evangelistic trips they take as a group to put their worshipful dance into practice.  The international students especially have a difficult time with funds.

 Do You

  •  Love dance?
  • Want to see ALL the arts redeemed for God?
           - or simply -
  • Want to see God's kingdom expanded through all means possible?

If so, please give a financial donation to support this work.  100% of any money donated through SOF will be passed on to YWAM's School of Dance.  You may also contact YWAM directly to donate or with inquiries about joining the School of Dance.
