Freedom Schools
Help transform the Muslim South Asia into a region that glorifies God.
SOF has a strategy. We plan to create Gospel-Promoting Engines which will continually accelerate the work of God in this hard-core Muslim country.
We call these Gospel engines “Freedom Schools”. A Freedom School will be a private Christian school which will only take students who are serious about learning and growing. Levels K - 12 will be offered as well as some adult education classes.
These students will learn everything they need to know to succeed in life, from reading, writing, math and science, to ethics, time-management, goal setting, budgeting, and vocational and leadership skills. In every class, the students will be exposed to the Bible and its teachings constantly. It is our hope that many of these Muslim students will turn their lives over to Christ, eventually becoming strong, humble, ethical Christian leaders who will greatly influence Pakistan for Christ.
The power of strong, godly leadership to lead a nation or a people into a transformational encounter with Christ is real. We hope that through us, God might raise up an entire generation of leaders who would do just that.
Won’t it be difficult to get Muslim students to attend?
Not at all. In many South Asian countries, it is a symbol of prestige for one’s children to attend a Christian school. Most likely, we will have parents banging down our doors to let their children attend.
Will you let Christian students attend?
Of course, but only those students who are serious about learning and following Christ well. Our goal is not to educate the general populace, but to create a generation of godly leaders.
What else will be going on at a Freedom School Campus?
We hope to add the following facilities to each Campus as resources allow:
● Orphanage (all of the orphans would attend the school)
● Shelter for Women & Children liberated from sexual slavery.
● Bible Printing Press (This facility will print mass quantities of Bibles, Gospels, and tracts for mass distribution around the country).
When will you get started?
Starting immediately, we are beginning to plan and raise funds for this project. We are beginning to seek and train qualified national leaders to run the facility, as well as seeking logistical support from American and Latin American churches.
We hope to launch the first Freedom School in 2010.
What do you need?
We primarily need financial support. We are seeking monthly donors who can support this mission at one of the levels below. Needed:
20 Donors - $ 50 / month
10 Donors - $ 100 / month
5 Donors - $ 200 / month
3 Donors - $ 500 / month
2 Donors - $1,000 / month
1 Donor - $3,000 / month
We will gladly accept any one-time gifts offered as well with a grateful heart, we simply prefer monthly giving as it helps tremendously with long-term planning.
